The New York State Bleeding Disorders Coalition is a partnership of not-for-profit organizations dedicated to public advocacy on behalf of people affected by bleeding disorders in New York State.Our Coalition includes patient-consumer community organizations and hemophilia treatment centers serving New York State and several regional/national bleeding disorders education and advocacy organizations. Together, these organizations provide a broad range of medical care, education and support services to people affected by bleeding disorders

Washington Days

Washington Days is a unique, annual opportunity from the National Hemophilia Foundation for  local bleeding disorder chapters to lobby nationally for issues important to the bleeding disorder and chronic care communities.  

Participants have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with lawmakers and staff who shape national healthcare policy, become more informed on critical issues that affect your continued access to quality care and learn effective grassroots advocacy techniques.

Albany Days

An ongoing struggle for many people with chronic medical conditions and challenging life circumstances is being able to get their medication in a private, secure place when they need it, along with the expert guidance to take their medication properly. There are many challenges faced by the bleeding disorder community that need to be addressed. YOUR voice and YOUR story matters. Join the community to discuss many important issues with NY's lawmakers.
